Miscellaneous Jun 02,2026

Anant Raj Limited committed ₹20,000 crore towards large-scale data centre infrastructure across Haryana at the Make in Haryana Industrial Policy 2026 launch event held in Gurugram on June 1, 2026. The commitment represents the single largest investment pledge at the event, which was presided over by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

The MoU was signed as part of a broader basket of investment commitments worth over ₹1.1 lakh crore attracted on the first day of the new industrial policy launch, which also included around ₹30,000 crore proposed through foreign direct investment. The event drew participation from industry leaders, investors, MSME representatives and foreign delegations alongside senior government officials.

The Make in Haryana Industrial Policy 2026 identifies data centres as a priority sector, alongside Global Capability Centres, electronics, electric vehicles and advanced manufacturing. The state government has projected Gurugram and Manesar as likely hotspots for new data centre and GCC capacity under the policy framework.

The policy targets attracting over ₹5 lakh crore in investments, generating 10 lakh new jobs and doubling the state's merchandise exports over the next five years. Specific locations, phasing and timelines for the Anant Raj data centre programme were not disclosed at the event.
