A new Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF) with a capacity of 10,950 TPA is proposed at Plot No. 13/2, Village Vijaypur, Wada, Palghar district, Maharashtra, comprising an incinerator, autoclave, shredder and effluent treatment plant. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference. Construction has not yet commenced, with the project sponsor planning to acquire required approvals before groundbreaking.
