Project summary
A new foundry unit is planned in Oorattukuppai Village, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to enhance ferrous castings and composite mill liner production. The project will expand melting capacity to 80,000 TPA, saleable castings to 57,600 TPA, and liners to 50,000 TPA. Construction began in April 2024 and is targeted for completion by March 2030. As of January 2026, machining and heat treatment expansion worth Rs. 660 million is under implementation.
