A Soda Ash Plant expansion project is planned in Kuranga, Gujarat, involving a Greenfield Light Soda Ash (LSA) plant with a capacity of 1,500 MTPD and a coal/lignite-based 50 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP). The project also includes a 1,500 TPD Dense Soda Ash unit and an increase in CCPP capacity to 67 MW. Estimated cost is Rs. 15,790 million, with construction starting in October 2025 and completion in December 2027. Environmental clearance is under review.
