An existing wood panel manufacturing unit (flush doors, block board, ply wood, ply & veneer) is expanding to add captive production of synthetic organic resins — urea formaldehyde, melamine formaldehyde, melamine urea formaldehyde and phenol formaldehyde resins — for in-house use. The proposal is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change ahead of ToR/EC approval, with the resin unit to be added within the existing brownfield premises.
