Project summary
An expansion project involving offshore drilling of 5 new development and production wells within the existing PY3 Oil Field (CY-05/90/1 Block) in the Cauvery Basin, off the coast of Tamil Nadu. The project aims to raise crude oil output from 10,000 BBL/day to 25,000 BBL/day and add 15 MMSCFD of associated natural gas, utilizing the existing FPSO Svetah Venetia for processing, storage and offloading. The proposal is currently under scrutiny with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Terms of Reference, with combined Environmental and CRZ clearance to be obtained.
