Project summary
A 700 MW hydroelectric project is planned in Tato, Arunachal Pradesh by the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation. It involves a 123m concrete dam on the Siyom River, spanning 2560 sq.km catchment area. The underground powerhouse, near Siyom village, will house four 175 MW units. Estimated cost is Rs. 71205.1 million. Environmental clearance is under examination as of October 2023.
