A new greenfield facility for manufacturing synthetic organic chemicals and chemical intermediates - including aldehydes, heptanoic acid, castor oil derivatives, esters and gamma lactones - is proposed on over 10 hectares of privately owned industrial land near Halol, Gujarat. The proposal, filed as a Fresh ToR application, is currently under examination with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The unit is expected to generate significant permanent and contractual employment once operational.
