Project summary
A new synthetic organic chemicals unit is proposed to manufacture a range of resins including epoxy, melamine formaldehyde, urea formaldehyde, alkyd, polyester, acrylic and vinyl ester resins with a combined capacity of about 30,000 TPA. The project is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference, with construction yet to commence. On completion, the unit is expected to generate around 28 permanent jobs during operations.
