Project summary
South East Central Railway plans a new 37.24 km double line between Sardega (Chhattisgarh) and Bhalumuda (Odisha). The project, estimated at Rs. 12,818.1 million, is scheduled for construction from September 2024 to March 2028. As of October 2025, the project has issued the Notice to Proceed and is being executed through the EPC route.
