A new facility for advanced glass manufacturing is being established in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, on 25 acres to produce Gorilla Glass. The Rs. 10,000 million project, developed with Optiemus Infraconstruction Ltd and Tata Consulting Engineers, is set to begin operations in 2024 with an initial capacity of 30 million pieces. Pre-project activities are underway as of December 2023.
