A Central PSU is planning to take up new diamond mining project in Majhgawan, Panna, Madhya Pradesh. Total excavation is 13.90 lakh ton per annum (ROM Kimberlite Ore = 8 lakh ton per annum and over burden removal = 5.90 lakh ton per annum ha) for production of 1 lakh carats of Diamonds per year.
