In Devadari Range, Sandur Taluk, Bellary, Karnataka, a new iron ore mining project aims to produce 2 MTPA of ROM iron ore and 500 TPA of manganese ore. It includes a 2 MTPA beneficiation plant to process ore into 1.2 MTPA of iron ore concentrate, along with CLO and manganese ore for use in a nearby pellet plant/blast furnace.
