Project summary
The state government is planning to take up a new defence corridor project in the state. The corridor coming up at an investment of Rs.500000 million would span 6 districts viz. Aligarh, Agra, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow and Chitrakoot. The proposed corridor will have necessary infrastructure such as ammunition blast testing centre to facilitate ‘plug and play’ model by the private sector companies in setting up their facilities.
