Project summary
A new coal tar distillation unit is planned in Jakhapura, Jajapur, Odisha, with a production capacity of 200,000 tonnes of distillation products and 100,000 tonnes of carbon black annually. The project also includes an 11 MW cogeneration power plant. Estimated at Rs. 6,000 million, construction is set for April 2025–April 2027 and is currently under environmental clearance review.
