Project summary
A new 1,600 MW coal-based thermal power plant is planned in Madhya Pradesh with an estimated investment of Rs. 220,000 million. The project will be developed as a greenfield ultra-supercritical facility to supply power for 25 years. As of September 2025, a Gujarat-based company has been awarded the contract following a Letter of Award issued by the state power authority.
