A new 6-lane highway project in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal is planned, covering a 525.6 km access-controlled corridor. Estimated at ₹374,650 million, construction is scheduled from April 2026 to March 2029. As of September 2025, the project has been submitted for environmental clearance, which is currently under review by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change.
