Project summary
A large integrated steel plant in Chhattisgarh is being expanded to more than double sponge iron capacity along with new induction furnaces, rolling mills, ferro alloy furnaces, a pipe mill and galvanizing line. The expansion also adds captive FBC and WHRB based power capacity, fly ash brick units and a new briquette plant. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Environmental
