The Central PSU is planning to take up LPG cavern storage expansion project in Mangalore, Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. The project involves construction of two under ground LPG cavern storage of total capacity 1,00,000 MT (propane cavern - 40,000 MT and butane cavern - 60,000 MT), mounted storage of capacity 6 X 1400 Mt and 9 Km existing transportation pipe upgradation from diameter "12 to 24" at HPCL.
