A massive Rs. 47,190 million maritime expansion project is underway in SPSR Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. The Phase-II development introduces balance four berths to scale non-container cargo handling capacity from 218.2 MMTPA to 243.95 MMTPA, keeping the overall port capacity at 295.1 MMTPA. Construction runs from April 2027 to April 2030, pending final statutory environmental approval.
