A Greenfield Fertilizer Manufacturing Unit is planned in VPO Nakte, Bhawanigarh, Sangrur, Punjab. The project includes production of SSP powder (198,000 TPA), GSSP, Sulphuric Acid (36,000 TPA), and Granular NPK Fertilizers (18,000 TPA), with a 0.9 MW waste heat recovery Turbo Generator. Estimated at Rs. 250 million, construction begins in May 2025, aiming for completion by April 2026. Environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change of India is pending as of June 2024.
