Project summary
A large lift irrigation project is proposed to draw water from the River Godavari near Tadipudi village to create irrigation potential of over 80,000 hectares and stabilize ayacut of over 1.1 lakh hectares across four districts of Andhra Pradesh. The scheme also aims to provide drinking water to about 25.94 lakh people, including scheduled tribes in 410 villages.
