A major cancer hospital and allied facilities expansion project is underway at Malkapuram village, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, aimed at strengthening healthcare and academic infrastructure. The project includes new hospital blocks, hostels, staff quarters, academic buildings, and additional floors over existing modules, adding 62,596.37 sq.m of built-up area and increasing the total to 1,70,922 sq.m. Construction was completed between November 2023 and April 2024. As of December 2025, the project has been submitted to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority for environmental clearance.
