Project summary
A new common bio-medical waste treatment facility is proposed with a capacity of 912.5 tonnes per annum for collection, transportation, storage and disposal of bio-medical waste. The project is currently at the Terms of Reference stage before the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with land already acquired and baseline environmental data collection yet to begin. Expected to generate about 60 permanent jobs during operations.
