Project summary
A major metallurgical expansion project is planned across several villages in Bargawan, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. The massive Rs. 2,20,560 million development will expand an aluminium smelter from 3.98 LTPA to 7.96 LTPA and boost captive power generation from 900 MW to 1,500 MW. Environmental clearance was sought in May 2026, with construction slate to run from April 2027 through December 2029.
