Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility in Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh
A Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF) is proposed on 0.523 hectares at Khasra No 135/1, Village Hansua, Tehsil and District Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, comprising a 2x250 kg/hr dry scrubbing incinerator along with autoclave, shredder, chemical disinfection unit and effluent treatment plant. The facility will collect, treat and dispose bio-medical waste from healthcare units as per the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016. Standard ToR has been granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and the project is currently progressing toward Environmental Clearance, with no construction reported as yet commenced.
