The proposal, currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for fresh environmental clearance, is expected to generate over 1,800 permanent jobs once operational.

    A new sweater manufacturing facility is being established in Karumathampatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, with an estimated investment of ₹750 million. Designed to produce 2.5 million garments annually, the greenfield project has secured a state government MoU and is scheduled for completion by Q4 FY2026–27 to strengthen regional downstream garmenting capabilities.

    A leading textile manufacturer is expanding its facilities in Tamil Nadu, investing ₹4,000 million in Coimbatore to scale daily production to 3.5 lakh garments, 3 lakh kg of yarn, 75,000 kg of fabric, and 70,000 kg of dyed fabric. Following a ₹2,500 million processing capacity upgrade, the board approved a new ₹2,500 million Greenfield Processing Factory in Perundurai.

    Telangana From 100 Million to 999 Million

    A new unit for manufacturing textile/denim fiber pulp is being set up at Ibrahimpatnam Kalsa village in Rangareddy district. The State Pollution Control Board is currently processing the Consent to Establish application, with the committee agreeing to issue consent subject to submission of further details on water consumption, boiler capacity, air pollution control equipment and solid waste management. The project is estimated to cost around ₹138.3 million
