Rs.170660 Million Carbon Black Manufacturing Expansion Project in Kachchh, Gujarat
A new Carbon black Manufacturing facility is planned in Gujarat's Village Paddhar. With an estimated cost of Rs. 1200 million, the facility aims for 11500 TPM capacity. Environmental clearance efforts started in March 2017, continuing with a modern plant plan in March 2019. Subsequent expansions, like a 20 MW Turbine and tire manufacturing, added Rs. 250 million investment. The project's scope expanded in November 2020, targeting a 4 LTPA carbon black facility, 90 MW CPP, and tire manufacturing, all pending environment clearance. As of May 2023, carbon black capacity expansion to 192600 TPA with Rs. 13690 million investment awaits approval. Essential project details are submitted to India's Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change for clearance consideration.
