A major expansion program is planned at a paint unit in Ankeleswar, Bharuch, Gujarat. The project aims to increase the capacity of synthetic resins and emulsions by 35,000 tpa. As of May 2023, the project involves an integrated paint manufacturing capacity of 86,000 KLD, with an investment of Rs. 1000 million. Environmental clearance is under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Environmental clearance is in progress, with a focus on augmenting water-based paints to 1383 KLPA, solvent-based paints to 1700 KLPA, and resins to 300 KLPA, supported by a submission to the State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority.
