    An existing pharmaceutical intermediates and API manufacturing facility within the Sarabhai Petrochemical Complex at Ranoli, Vadodara is undertaking an expansion to add several new products including anticoagulants, local anaesthetics, and antifungal APIs, alongside an increase in overall production capacity. The proposal is currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Terms of Reference under EIA Category A. Physical expansion work is expected to commence once environmental clearance formalities are completed.

    A new facility to manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients at 26.7 TPM and Excipient Polymers at 225 TPM, taking total output to 251.7 TPM, is proposed on about 3.8 Ha of non-forest land at Palaj, Mehsana district, Gujarat. The proposal is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for grant of Environmental Clearance. Consent under the Air & Water Act is to be obtained from the State Pollution Control Board post establishment.

    Rs.492 Million Bulk Drug and Pharmaceutical Intermediates Manufacturing Project in Gujarat

    A new synthetic organic chemicals unit is proposed to manufacture bulk drugs and pharmaceutical intermediates - including antifungal, antidiabetic and antiprotozoal APIs such as Fluconazole, Voriconazole, Metronidazole, Glimepiride and Itraconazole - with a total proposed capacity of about 5136 TPA (426 MT/month plus R&D). The facility is planned on 3.75 hectares of privately-owned non-forest land near Skywin Spinning Pvt Ltd, Kuvadva-Wankaner Road, Sanosara village, Rajkot, Gujarat. The Fresh EC/ToR application is currently under verification with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change; construction has not yet commenced.

The unit already holds an earlier Environmental Clearance and Consent to Establish, with the current filing being a fresh EC application for expansion, presently under verification with SEIAA/SCEIA. Products planned include Bosentan Monohydrate, Cilostazol, 2-Amino-6-Hydroxypurine, Celecoxib and Fluconazole, among others.
