    The Government of Nagaland plans to develop the Tizu Valley Hydroelectric Project in Phek, with a combined capacity of 2*12 MW, costing Rs. 3,366.3 million. Construction will begin in March 2025 and conclude by March 2029. As of September 2023, the project is in the DPR/Feasibility Study phase and is being developed through the EPC route. This initiative aims to provide clean energy and promote sustainable development in the region.
