    The Government of Uttar Pradesh's Directorate of Medical Education and Training has proposed a project to establish a 100-seat medical college in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. The project includes augmenting the 268-bedded District Hospital to 430 beds as per MCI/NMC norms under the PPP model. The project's estimated cost is Rs.2218.56 million, with construction scheduled to begin in May 2023 and end in April 2028. As of April 2023, the project is in the tender publishing phase and will be carried out via the PPP route.
