    A new ammunition manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 3000 million is being planned in the Lucknow node of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, Uttar Pradesh. Teaser : A state-of-the-art ammunition manufacturing facility is being established in the Lucknow node of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor with a planned investment of around Rs 3000 million over three years. The project will manufacture defence-grade cartridges and weapon-related materials for armed forces, paramilitary forces and authorised security agencies. The first phase involves an investment of about Rs 1000 million, with commercial production targeted by the end of 2027. The project is aimed at strengthening indigenous defence manufacturing under the Make in India initiative.
