    A new 95 KLPD distillery is proposed at Kada Sakhar in Beed district, Maharashtra, to produce rectified spirit/ENA/ethanol from syrup and B-heavy/C-heavy molasses, along with CBG and potash-rich powder as by-products. The project includes a 2.5 MW biomass-based captive power unit and is currently under examination at the ToR stage with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Construction has not yet commenced as the proposal is still undergoing regulatory review.

    Maharashtra From 1000 Million to 4999 Million

    A 500 KLPD grain-based distillery is proposed to produce fuel ethanol or a mix of ethanol and rectified spirit/ENA, supported by an 8.5 MW captive power plant. The project is currently under examination for Terms of Reference clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, with no construction activity yet commenced. The unit will come up on an 8-hectare plot in the MIDC Deori industrial area of Maharashtra.

    A new single malt whisky distillery with an annual capacity of around 3 million bulk litres is being set up along with a maturation warehouse in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The investment marks entry into the provenance-led Single Malt Whisky segment as part of a broader premiumisation strategy. The project is expected to be completed by Q3 FY28.

    An existing integrated sugar-distillery complex at Mhaisgaon, Solapur is expanding its molasses-based distillery capacity from 30 KLPD to 100 KLPD, alongside associated increases in ethanol/ENA, CO2 recovery and fusel oil output. The expansion is being planned entirely within existing land already owned by the company, with the proposal currently under examination by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for Environmental Clearance. No timeline for construction start has been disclosed yet.

    Maharashtra From 100 Million to 999 Million

    A new Fruit-Based Distillery Plant and Grapes Winery is proposed at Gut No. 22 (Part), Bhilwad Village, Deola, Nashik, Maharashtra. Designed to produce 10 KLD spirit and 60 KLD wine with an estimated budget of ₹120 million, construction runs from September 2026 to March 2027 following environmental clearance from SEIAA, submitted in July 2026.
