Project summary
an MoU with Giredmet, Russia's State Research and Design Institute of the Rare Metal Industry under Rosatom, to build an integrated rare earth magnet platform in Hyderabad. The facility targets a production capability of 1200 MTPA of sintered NdFeB permanent magnets by FY 2033. The collaboration aims to reduce India's import dependence on high-performance magnets used in EVs, wind turbines, defence systems and electronics.
