Manufacturing  -  Aug 03,2023  -

In Sector 10 of Greater Noida, the Yamuna Motorway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) intends to build a number of new industrial parks.

According to reports, the proposed parks include a handloom park, a park for electric vehicles, a park for leather footwear, products, and accessories, and a park for plastic processing.

These parks are in addition to the semiconductor and electronic manufacturing hubs, which were earlier announced to be developed on about 500 acres of land.

Speaking about the proposed parks, YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh said, “The proposal for their development has been approved by the Authority’s board. The process of land acquisition for industrial parks in Sector 10 of Yamuna Authority is underway.”

The CEO informed that the Council of Leather Exports, operating under the ministry of commerce and industry, had proposed the leather park, which would focus on manufacturing leather-related accessories, footwear and garments.
