Waaree Renewable Technologies has announced that it has secured a significant contract for the development of a 416 MW solar power project in Tamil Nadu. This project is a part of the company’s strategic expansion in the renewable energy sector, aiming to contribute to India's growing clean energy capacity.

The project, which will be set up in phases, will involve the design, procurement, and installation of solar panels and associated infrastructure. Once completed, the facility is expected to generate substantial amounts of electricity, helping meet the region’s energy demand while reducing carbon emissions. Waaree Renewable’s focus on solar energy aligns with India’s renewable energy targets and its commitment to combating climate change.

The company stated that this project would not only strengthen its position in the solar energy market but also enhance its portfolio of large-scale solar installations across India. Waaree has been a key player in the country’s transition to clean energy, and this new project underscores its capabilities in handling large, complex solar projects.

Waaree Renewable Technologies has been making steady strides in expanding its footprint in the renewable energy space, with several successful projects under its belt. The Tamil Nadu solar venture is expected to further contribute to India’s renewable energy goals and provide long-term sustainable energy solutions for the state.
