Tata Group is set to make a significant investment in Andhra Pradesh, with plans to establish 20 hotels and a state-of-the-art IT center in the state. The announcement was made by Tata Group Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran during a recent visit to Vijayawada. This project is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence and contribute to the region’s economic development.

The hotel chain will span multiple cities across Andhra Pradesh, including key locations such as Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Additionally, the IT center will focus on boosting the state’s technology and innovation landscape, providing high-tech solutions and creating employment opportunities.

Chandrasekaran emphasized that the Tata Group's investment would help enhance infrastructure, generate jobs, and foster skill development, aligning with the state’s vision to become a key hub for business and technology in the region. The group’s diversified portfolio, which includes hospitality, IT services, and infrastructure, is expected to have a significant positive impact on the local economy.

The Andhra Pradesh government has expressed its full support for this initiative, highlighting that Tata Group's involvement in these sectors will contribute to the state's growth trajectory and its goal of becoming a major investment destination.

This investment is expected to create numerous direct and indirect job opportunities, particularly in hospitality, technology, and construction sectors, and will help in the development of both urban and rural areas in Andhra Pradesh.
