Waaree Renewable Technologies Secures Turnkey EPC Contract for 450 MWp Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan
Waaree Renewable Technologies has received a Letter of Award from a domestic independent power producer (IPP) for a 450 MWp solar power project in Bikaner district, Rajasthan. The project is scheduled for completion in FY2027-28.
The contract is turnkey. It covers design, engineering, inspection, procurement, supply, delivery, erection, testing and commissioning of the solar facility.
The company said the award adds to its unexecuted order book, which stands at more than ₹5,500 crore. Its immediate focus is early mobilisation and commissioning within FY2027-28.
The award follows two recent orders. One covers 800 MW AC (1,109 MWp) of solar capacity. The other is a 291 MWp solar project paired with 280 MWh of battery storage. Both are scheduled for completion in FY2027-28.
