Vivint Pharma to invest Rs 400 crore in Genome Valley

Vivint Pharma, a leading injectables pharmaceutical company, is set to establish a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, with an investment of Rs 400 crore. This new facility, planned to employ approximately 1,000 people, will significantly bolster Telangana's reputation as a premier global life sciences hub. The announcement was made during a high-level meeting in the US with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, highlighting the company's commitment to expanding its footprint.

Currently, Vivint Pharma operates an R&D center in Genome Valley, where it has already invested Rs 70 crore. The new manufacturing plant, located on 5.5 acres, will be the company's first production facility, aimed at strengthening its market presence and expanding into international markets. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed enthusiasm about the investment, noting that it will further drive innovation and growth in Telangana's life sciences sector.
