Infrastructure  -  Sep 26,2024  -

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently inaugurated two significant National Highway projects in Pune, Maharashtra.

These projects, valued at Rs 899 crore, aim to enhance connectivity between Pune, Satara, and Solapur.

The first project involves upgrading a 13 km stretch from Dive Ghat to Hadapsar on NH-965 to four lanes.

This will reduce congestion and improve travel for Palkhi Yatra devotees. The second project includes constructing major bridges on the Mula and Mutha rivers along the Pune-Satara section of NH-48.

This will alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity in the region.

These projects are expected to significantly enhance road infrastructure in Pune, improving connectivity and quality of life for residents.

The focus on improving connectivity between cities will also have a positive impact on the local economy.
