Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions India secures EPC contract from IOCL

The 60 KTPA Poly Butadiene Rubber Plant (PBR) for their Panipat Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, Haryana, India, has been given an EPC contract for somewhat more than USD 100 Million by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions India Private Ltd. (tkIS India).

The polymerization of butadiene yields polybutadiene rubber, which is used in the production of tyres and additives. thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions India Private Ltd. would carry out this project on an LSTK basis based on technology from a reputable licensor because of its experience in implementing several refinery and petrochemical projects.

In the past, tkIS India has executed multiple refineries and petrochemical projects for IOCL across its various refineries.
