Manufacturing  -  Jan 20,2025  -

TCL aims to increase its market share in India’s high-end television segment to 10 percent, wherein it will produce 25-430 units of the new TV monthly at its Sri City facility in Andhra Pradesh.

The Chinese consumer electronics brand has invested over USD three billion in its Tirupati (Sri City) manufacturing plants which produces all its TV units.

Its new high-end TV, priced at Rs 30 lakh, boasts the world’s largest LED screen, measuring 115 inches, with TCL counting among the top six players. The domestic smart TV market, valued at USD 11.5 billion in 2023, is projected to grow at an annual rate of 16.6 percent to reach USD 33.72 billion by 2030.

TCL has also entered India’s market for washing machines, air conditioners, and home theatres, initially outsourcing production to gauge demand but plans to manufacture locally in the future
