The Tata Group intends to increase the capacity of iPhone case manufacturing factory in Hosur.
The current plant, which employs over 15,000 people and currently encompasses 500 acres, may quadruple in size as a result of the proposed expansion, according to the report.
An additional 25,000–28,000 personnel will be needed to fulfill the growth ambitions.
Tata Electronics is looking to use its recently purchased iPhone assembly plant to increase its capacity in the high-end electronics manufacturing industry, according to a report published in The Economic Times.
It is anticipated that this action will accelerate the company's growth trajectory.
