Spain-based Edibon has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to invest Rs 540 crore in the state.

On 05 February, 2024, Chief Minister MK Stalin inked an agreement with Edibon during his visit to Spain. Edibon is engaged in the area of design, manufacturing and commercialisation of technical teaching equipment.

Besides, the Chief Minister had also held talks with other industrial majors Gestamp and Talgo, and convinced them of the opportunities in Tamil Nadu. The CM also had a discussion with Mabtree, a company engaged in research and development (R&D) in immunotherapies.

Industries Minister TRB Rajaa and senior officials were also present during these meetings.
