Syrma SGS Elemaster Inaugurates High-Reliability Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Bengaluru
Syrma SGS Technology and Italy-based Elemaster Group have inaugurated a new high-reliability electronics manufacturing facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka, through their joint venture Syrma SGS Elemaster Private Limited. The inauguration took place on September 2, 2026.
The facility, located in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, covers 20,000 sq. ft. and is equipped with Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Through-Hole Technology (THT) and box-build assembly lines. This combination allows the plant to move from populated circuit boards to more complete electronic assemblies for applications requiring higher reliability standards.
The plant will cater to demand for reliable electronics across railways and transportation, industrial electronics, energy and medical electronics segments. It is also intended to support global original equipment manufacturers seeking to manufacture high-quality electronics in India.
The joint venture combines Syrma SGS's manufacturing scale in India with Elemaster's European engineering and high-reliability electronics experience, aiming to build globally competitive, Made-in-India solutions for critical applications and strengthen India's position in global electronics supply chains.
The inauguration was attended by Dr Giandomenico Milano, Consul General of Italy in Bengaluru, along with senior representatives from Syrma SGS, Elemaster, and customers, underscoring growing industrial and technology ties between India and Italy in the electronics manufacturing sector.
