Suzlon Secures 200 MW Wind EPC Order from Ayana Renewable Power for Limbawas, Madhya Pradesh
Suzlon Energy has secured a maiden 200 MW wind energy order from Ayana Renewable Power, marking the company's third developer-company (DevCo) led wind order across two states, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The order highlights continued focus on utility-scale renewable capacity additions in India.
As part of the project, Suzlon will install 64 of its S144 turbines, each rated at 3.15 MW. The S144 platform has now crossed the 10 gigawatt milestone across multiple sites in India. Turbine supply and installation timelines were not disclosed.
Suzlon will execute the project on an engineering, procurement and construction basis, covering turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant, pooling substation, extra-high-voltage line, commissioning and ongoing operations and maintenance services. The project will be sited in Limbawas, Madhya Pradesh, with generated power connected to the Madhya Pradesh Power Company Limited state grid.
The company said the contract will add to its domestic order book while reinforcing its 3.15 MW-class technology footprint, and is expected to strengthen local supply chain participation and employment generation in the project region. No project investment figure was disclosed in the source.
