Suzlon Energy recently announced securing India’s largest wind turbine order, totaling 1,166 MW, from NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL).

Additionally, with their Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers, these turbines boast a rated capacity of 3.15 MW each.

Suzlon Energy will install these 370 WTGs across two major projects: NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL), and IndianOil NTPC Green Energy Pvt Ltd, a joint venture of NGEL.

All these installations will occur in Gujarat, enhancing the region’s renewable energy capabilities.

Furthermore, Suzlon will supply the turbines, and oversee the entire project execution from erection to commissioning. The firm will also offer long-term O&M services post-commissioning.
