Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Wins 534.3 MWp Solar BOS Order in Rajasthan, Part of ₹985 Crore Order Haul
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has secured new orders totalling over ₹985 crore, including a domestic order of 534.3 MWp in Rajasthan for a Balance of System (BOS) package from a new customer.
The company said the Rajasthan project is estimated to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 0.80 million tonnes upon commissioning.
The remainder of the announced order value comes from an international award in South Africa, where SWREL secured a turnkey Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project of 616 MWh capacity from a repeat customer.
Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, said the two order wins reinforce momentum in the company's business and reflect customer confidence built on consistent project execution and domain expertise.
