Sterling and Wilson Renewable bags three orders worth Rs 1,470 crore

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy said it has secured three new solar and hybrid projects worth Rs 1,470 crore.

Of these, the company received its first wind engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) order via a hybrid project in Rajasthan, where the company will execute Balance of Plant/Balance of Services (BoP/Bos) for a total of 127 MW AC of solar/wind combined. 

This includes a 69.3 MW Wind BoP, 58 MW AC/75 MW; DC solar BoS and 132 kV/33 kV pooling substation.

The company was also the lowest bidder for a turnkey solar project of 200 MW AC/260 MWp DC PV plant in Gujarat from a leading PSU developer, it said.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy also received a letter of award for a PV plant in Rajasthan from a domestic IPP.

"We have already established a market leading presence in India in solar and BESS, and our entry into wind helps us provide holistic EPC solutions for hybrid projects," Chandra Kishore Thakur, the global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy said.
